with so many designers to choose from to end our maids day, i decided to go with the saja collection. she has fabulous style and a wonderfully fresh take on femininity. hope you fall in love as i did--and don't get nervous when you see the prints. go for it! you can definitely afford some pint style on your maids! have a good evening and see you tomorrow for some more dressed obsessed!!

morning! i have been working on a project for about 5 days now and i have found myself obsessed with dresses--well, i guess i love dresses no matter what, but it's been especially consuming lately ;) i was actually joking with a friend the other day about how i think i could have a blog solely dedicated to dresses...and of course i would want to "test them out" first. you know, to make sure i would be able to give my complete review on them...i guess that is just an excuse to wear fabulous clothing all the time--i don't think my husband would go for that.

anyway! so i though in "honor" of my obsession i would dedicate this week to some fabulous dress finds! so first, this is for the maids. do your best girls a nice favor and pick out dresses that are not only flattering but chic too! they want to feel pretty on your big day too--well, of course not more than you :) and as much as i don't even want to think about fall (here in oregon, we haven't had a day over 70 in like 2 weeks!!! eh.), here are some good choices for fall weddings--or anytime really. but don't get stuck in an orange and brown rut just because it's harvest time! go for some color; muted brights and soft hues of pink and blue are good choices too!! so i hope you enjoy this--which ones do you like?? let me know. my fav? the green dress. love the back!!

okay, gals, i found this wonderfully inventive website from one of my favorite wedding blogs, the sassy wedding chicks, it's called i'm over it! you can rent, lease, and even buy fantastic jewelery for any kind of occasion. i have heard of the whole renting a designer bag for a day thing, but this is a great concept for the bride who wants to go all out on her jewelery but not pay the price for it!

you pick out your favorite pieces right on their website--including, cocktail rings, earrings, tennis bracelets, and even jewelry sets, and they send it to you and you can keep it from 14 to 30 days depending on your rental period. this is great for the bride, but also for the bridesmaids, mother of the bride, even if you want to look fabulously glittered for at your rehearsal dinner (or any dinner)! and don't forget to go to the wedding chicks blog, they are doing a i'm over it giveaway, check it out!

i was reading my new real simple magazine saturday morning, in the beautiful weather, ya!!, and i found this too cute website ms. & mrs. they have great little "essentials" kits for the bride and her wedding day, the bridesmaid, and even the groom. equipped with everything from hairpins to antacid, toothpaste to earring backs! fun shower gifts and a creative, chic way to make your day go a little more carefree when those unexpected emergencies pop up!

check this one out: shemergency survival kit! fabulous! for all of those fashion blunders and unpredicted personal care mishaps we face when our best girl friend is not around--this is a kit to move you in the right direction--there is even stain and static remover! love it

all i have to say is: "yeah, for target!". in a world of crazy fashion shifts at the whim of any designer's delight and expensive items that you just hate to break the bank on, i am thankful for target! so if you are a bride who needs to cut costs, like all brides, check out target for your bridesmaids needs. here are just a few examples of fun, retro, and quite flattering dresses they have online. there are other styles and colors available too!

i'm back...kind of. so i have been horribly sick for the past 4 days and have missed out on so much out there--so many new things to be found! but today i am feeling the best so far (not moaning on my bed) and i had to check out some of my favorite wedding blog sites. if you haven't ever looked at what junebug loves, you need to! she is so great at what she does and she is located here in the northwest, right in seattle. anyway, she has introduced me to a site called polyvore. you can create your own designer masterpieces for free from their site. here are some of the inspiration boards i whipped up from polyvore--it's so easy and if you are anything like me, you will be addicted :)
